Poppies cottages combine the very best of traditional Thai style with western comforts and amenities. The carved roof panels, floors and windows are of solid teak and the fabrics are of finest Thai cotton and silk.
Each cottage is "L" shaped, like a small suite, comprising the bedroom with either a King-size bed or 2 singles and and a small living area comprising an easy chair, full size sofa that converts to a full size single bed and a small table. Of course full air-conditioning, ceiling fan, flat LCD wide screen TV, DVD / CD player, hair drier electronic safe, reading lights and a half size personal refrigerator, coffee & tea making amenities, dressing gowns and a choice of pillows come as standard.
There is a unique all marble bathroom with a sunken bathtub / shower and a glass sink atop a teak table. Part of the bathroom is open to the sky (protected by a mosquito proof roof) allowing the (occasional) rain to water the indoor garden and let you see the stars. Each bathroom is supplied with soap, shampoo, conditioner, body creme, shower gel (all local products featuring natural herbs and spices), an assortment of fluffy towels and face cloths.
